Introducing The Earthrise Project!

Updated: Jul 20, 2021

Hello and welcome to the Earthrise Project! The Earthrise Project is a youth-led climate organization that aims at educating, empowering, and inspiring leaders to get involved in the climate change movement, all for free. This project was founded by Kelsey Kozuszek (she/her), a youth climate activist. The Earthrise Project provides youth with the tools, skills, and resources necessary to get involved in the fight against climate change including articles, tips, tricks, and events to empower everyone to make a difference in their communities. Whether it be education on the social, political, and economic implications of the climate emergency, writing to your local government officials about the climate topics that concern you most, to climate striking, whether virtual or in-person, The Earthrise Project is here for you every step of the way. The Earthrise Project started out as an Instagram page in April 2021 (@theearthriseproject) as a way to spread the word about climate change and this project. This website is a platform to spread awareness, information, and hope for a more sustainable and successful future for all. Stay tuned to more additions to the site including events and expansion into a nonprofit organization, which is this project’s goal. If you are interested in The Earthrise Project, you can find it on Instagram (@theearthriseproject) and if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or are interested in participating in this organization, contact us at theearthriseproject@gmail.com.
